Loulé opens registrations for training in economic, social and environmental activities in the Rural Environment

Within the scope of the “Agenda for Sustainability”

Registration is open, until April 15, for a training action aimed at those who intend to start or develop economic activities and services in rural areas, promoted by the Municipality of Loulé.

Within the scope of the “Agenda for Sustainability”, the Loulé municipality has been preparing initiatives to boost the rural-based economy, activities of a social nature and the safeguard and valorization of environmental resources.

Over the next three months, in fortnightly meetings held on Saturdays, business ideas will be worked on, information and knowledge will be transmitted to enable them to assess their feasibility and viability, promote and sell products or services, prepare business plans, training resident entrepreneurs or those if they intend to be based in the rural area of ​​the municipality

From July to December, it will be the period of installation and beginning of the activity, with the possibility of monitoring/mentoring, tailored to the needs of each participant.

The initiative has applications open until April 15th, with acceptance in order of registration, up to a maximum limit of 25, all those who propose to develop rural-based activities or services and technologies applied to them, social and environmental economy and other relevant quality of life and appreciation of the territory's resources.

To find out more information and meet other potential interested parties, interested parties can participate in one of the three publicity sessions that will take place in the first week of April, always at 18:00 pm: on the 2nd, at Palácio Gama Lobo, in Loulé; day 3 at the Cândido Guerreiro Museum Center, in Alte; 5th at the Association of Friends of Cortelha.

«Live and build your future, developing agricultural, forestry, livestock, agro-industrial, tourist activities, in the areas of social and environmental economy, in technologies applied to them, or even in the provision of relevant services for the maintenance and quality of life in the rural space can be within everyone's reach», adds the municipality.
