Registration for the University of Algarve Open Days, which take place on the 16th and 17th of April, has now opened and will run until the 5th of April.
Students from the 9th to the 12th year, teachers and guardians are invited to participate in this initiative which aims to “publicize the training offer for 2024/2025 and publicize the pedagogical and scientific work developed in UAlg», through presentation of programs that include informative, pedagogical, experimental and recreational activities.
«All initiatives were designed to challenge and question the knowledge of young people, stimulating their critical sense, the assimilation of new concepts or the structuring of subjects already covered in the classroom, through the various subjects that make up the teaching curricula basic and secondary in Portugal», says the University of Algarve.
With more than a hundred activities, distributed throughout Penha and Gambelas, visitors will be able to enjoy guided visits to departments and laboratories, where they can also carry out activities, clarify doubts, do science, learn about the day-to-day life of UAlg and interact with teachers, researchers, students and staff.
The program also offers lectures, workshops, exhibitions and sporting activities.
