A dog that fell into the water in the riverside area of Portimão was rescued this morning by members of the Maritime Police.
The alert was received at 11:12 am, through members of the public who were nearby.
«Upon arrival at the location, members of the National Maritime Authority found that the dog had fallen into the water, without being able to return to land, and proceeded to rescue the animal, using a Maritime Police vessel», the note reads.
The dog was later handed over to its owner without any injuries.
