Portimonense loses to Estrela da Amadora

Algarvians suffered 2nd consecutive defeat

Portimonense lost 3-0 against Estrela da Amadora, in the opening game of the 21st round of the I Football League, played this Friday, February 9th, in Amadora.

The Amadora team, which had already gone seven games without winning in the championship and had come from three consecutive defeats, arrived at half-time leading 3-0, with goals from Carlinhos (six minutes), in his own goal, Léo Jabá ( 13) and Nakamura (25), again in his own goal.

Portimonense, who had their second defeat in a row, were unable to react.

With this victory, Estrela provisionally rose to 12th place, with 21 points, the same as Portimonense, which is now down to 14th place.
