Portimão marks International Civil Protection Day with vehicle exhibition

The OIPC – International Civil Protection Organization defined “Technology at the Service of Civil Protection” as the inspiring theme of the anniversary

Portimão will mark this Friday, March 1st, International Civil Protection Day with a static exhibition of operational vehicles, equipment and technological resources. 

This exhibition is from the Municipal Civil Protection Service (SMPC), Portimão Fire Department (BP), Public Security Police, National Republican Guard and Portuguese Red Cross.

The exhibition will be on display between 9am and 00pm at Escola Secundária Poeta António Aleixo, where it can be seen by the school community of the Poeta António Aleixo School Group.

On March 3rd, the exhibition can be visited at the Portimão Fire Station between 9:00 am and 13:00 pm, with free entry, bringing together operational vehicles, equipment and technological resources from SMPC and BP. Throughout the day, there will be activities and games for all ages, with an emphasis on younger guests.
