Vila Real de Santo António is promoting its tourist offer at the International Tourism Fair (Fitur), in Madrid, which began yesterday the 24th, and lasts until January 28th, at the IFEMA fair and exhibition grounds, in the Spanish capital.
The Vilarreal City Council is present at the event «with its own stand, located in pavilion 4, where it highlights the municipality's main tourist assets, showcasing its territory, its natural and architectural heritage, the hotel offer and its potential for investment", according to the municipality.
Over the course of five days, «the VRSA municipality offers a favorable environment for creating strategic partnerships, sharing information and attracting visitors and operators».
During the event, the tourist destination “Eurocidade do Guadiana”, made up of the border municipalities of Vila Real de Santo António, Castro Marim and Ayamonte, will be promoted.
Tomorrow, January 26th, at 11:00 am, several presentations will be made at the municipality's stand, to publicize the project «Território Museu da Eurocidade do Guadiana», as well as the events «Feira Setecentista 2024» and «Monte Gordo Sand Race».
Fitur «is the global meeting point for tourism professionals and the leading event for the Ibero-American markets. A global reference event for the tourism sector, tourism professionals, those interested in learning about the latest trends in the sector, as well as the general public».
The 2024 edition will have Ecuador as a guest country and will be attended by representatives from more than 130 countries.
