The “Silves Alegria de Natal” program will continue, on the 5th, 6th and 7th of January, at Praça Al-Muthamid, with the XXI Encontro de Janeiras, the Saint Dominic's Gospel Choir and the New Year's concert by the Philharmonic Society Band Silvense.
On the 5th, at 18:30 pm, the Encontro de Janeiras, now in its 21st edition, will once again bring together several choral groups that will perform a series of songs from the season.
The Choral Group of the Silvense Philharmonic Society, the Choral Group of the Casa do Povo de São Bartolomeu de Messines, the Singing Group of the Alcantarilhense Recreational Society, the Singing Group of the Amigos da Pedreira, the Singing Group of the Tunis Community Association and the Singing Group of the The six teams participating in this meeting are happy.
Then, on the 6th, at 18pm, it will be the turn of a formation from the Saint Dominics Gospel Choir to take the stage at Silves Alegria do Natal, where they will perform songs from the season such as “Santa Claus is comin' to Town” or “Oh Happy Day” , in a show full of rhythm, animation and lots of musicality.
The shows in this edition of Silves Alegria do Natal close with the New Year's concert by the Banda da Sociedade Filarmónica Silvense, on January 7th, at 17pm, in Praça Al-Muthamid.
Alma de Maestro, Alberto Madureira; Coliseum, Hugo Chinesta, The Girls of Jobim, António Carlos Jobim, arr. Manfred Schneider, Themes from The Nutcracker, P. Tchaikovsy, arr. Ed. Huckeby, Disco Selection, arr. Luís Cardoso; Radetzky March, John Strauss, arr. Alfred Reed are the themes and composers that will be remembered in this unmissable concert.
