Pinto Luz suspends mandate in Cascais and moves to “his father’s house” in the Algarve

Miguel Pinto Luz already has an agenda scheduled for the Algarve in the coming days

Miguel Pinto Luz, head of the Democratic Alliance (AD) list for the Algarve, is no longer vice-president of the Cascais Chamber. The candidate asked to suspend his position and will “focus” on the campaign in the region.

In statements to the Sul Informação, Pinto Luz said that he “complyed with the law”, asking for the suspension of the vice-president of the Cascade municipality.

The head of the list said that he will “focus” on the campaign, heading to the Algarve to “live at his father’s house”.

The order has already been signed by Carlos Carreiras, president of the Cascais Chamber, who appointed the until now councilor Nuno Piteira Lopes as the new vice-president.

Furthermore, Miguel Pinto Luz already has an agenda scheduled for the Algarve in the coming days.

The head of the list will participate in a conference dedicated to the topic of health in the region next Saturday, January 27th, at 17 pm, in the auditorium of the Portimão Museum.

This initiative is part of a cycle of conferences that the PSD council of Portimão will promote in order to debate the problems affecting Portimão and the Algarve.

In addition to Pinto Luz, the event will also feature an intervention by Cristóvão Norte, president of the PSD/Algarve, and number two on the Democratic Alliance list.
