The Carlos do Carmo Auditorium, in Lagoa, will host the Encontro de Cantares de Janeiras with the show “Cantar os Reis”, on January 20th, at 15 pm.
The show, “Cantar os Reis”, will be performed by groups from various locations in the Algarve, marking the end of the Christmas season and the beginning of a new year and a new cycle.
This is a partnership between A.D.R. Quinta de S. Pedro, Rancho Folclórica do Calvário and the Municipality of Lagoa that brings together several generations around singing and sharing within the spirit of the court.
The show “Cantar os Reis” will feature the presence of Rancho Folclórica do Calvário, Grupo de Cantares do Parchal, Canto de Janeiras Section of Grupo Coral de Portimão, Grupo de Janeiras of Grupo de Cantares Fonte Nova, “Cancioneiro” of Grupo Folclórica in Faro and the Friends of Figueira and Figueirinhas Group.
Entrance is free, but you must book a ticket by contacting Auditorium Carlos do Carmo 282 380 452.
Tickets must then be collected at the Auditorium reception, on the 20th, between 14pm and 00pm.
