The Creative Activities Laboratory will once again open the doors of its headquarters, located in the old Lagos prison, on the 12th and 13th of January, for the 23rd edition of the LAC Open Day, which is scheduled to start at 18pm on the 00th.
This event “makes the public aware of the dynamics of the Association, as well as the work of the artists in residence, including individual and collective projects in the areas of visual and performing arts (music and performance). The LAC Open Day has an eclectic program, aimed at various age groups, which includes concerts, exhibitions, workshops, among other freely accessible activities», according to the organization.
LAC is a cultural association founded in 1995. It develops activities in the fields of Creation (artistic residencies), Programming (national and international exhibitions, concerts, conferences) and Audience Training (workshops for the community in general and for schools in particular). It is a structure that is part of RPAC – Portuguese Contemporary Art Network and is financed by the Ministry of Culture/DGArtes, Municipality of Lagos and CRESC Algarve 2020.
