To celebrate this date, the band released a new version of the 1st single “Criatura Da Noite 2023”, signed by renowned Brazilian producer Alé Siqueira, and released an album in digital format with new songs from a last album that was never released. published when it stopped in 2004.

But Choque Frontal ao Vivo starts 2024 with the Portuguese guitar of Luís Capitão, on January 25th. Luís Capitão made his debut in the world of music at a young age. At age 8, he began learning classical guitar, later traveling down more distorted paths with the electric guitar.

In 2022, he embarked on the 12-string guitar of Lisbon, which marked his debut in 2023 at the Grand Auditorium of TEMPO-Teatro Municipal de Portimão at the Alvor FM Acoustic Festival. The success was so great that it became mandatory to return to the more intimate program south of the Tagus.

On March 14th, it will be Carlos Alberto Moniz's turn to be present at Choque frontal ao Vivo. It is one of the greatest symbols of Portuguese Popular Music of its generation, with great national and international prestige.

Throughout his career, he has created a transversal relationship with the public that loves him so much, both for his music and for his work on television, namely the work linked to childhood programs that everyone remembers, as well as for his work on the radio with Portuguese communities across borders.

Choque Frontal ao Vivo will be the stage to admire and applaud its artistic and human versatility, providing musical moments of rare quality.

On April 11th, Almaatriz arrives, a band born in the Algarve, in 2019. And they released “Procura”, their debut album in September 2023, a work composed of 10 songs that invite you to a journey through contemporary Portuguese popular music, with influences from the Portuguese-speaking world, classical music and Fado.

They present, however, a new perspective and sound concept within today's current world, where experimentation and the crossing of genres prevail.

The Choque Frontal ao Vivo season, in Portimão, ends on May 16th, with a program that will make a difference, to host “Riding a Meteor”.

«It will be a journey throughout its multidisciplinary show, which appeals to the different emotional states that we can encounter throughout life, often leaving us between paradise and the precipice», explain the promoters of the radio program.

In three years of life and still without any studio album, “Riding a Meteor” has avoided the trend of social networks and “streaming” platforms, carrying the message that his music happens on stage.

Perhaps for this reason, only a pandemic stopped the rhythm of concerts presented between 2018 and the beginning of 2020, being present in formal and informal concert halls, festivals (of which F, MED, Boom and Edita stand out), performances in three countries (Portugal, Spain and England) and with distinctions with the final selection of several competitions, including the 2019 Young Creators Award in the area of music.

In 2024, «Choque Frontal», a radio program on Alvor FM, presented by Júlio Ferreira and Ricardo Coelho, may still surprise with more programs carried out in other Algarve cities and will continue to count on the support of: Municipality of Portimão, TEMPO-Teatro Municipal de Portimão, Canequinhas.pt, Algarve Wine Commission and Pastelarias Delícias.
