children of Faro parade again at Carnival

The parade will be accompanied by Brazilian music, animation and confetti

Children's Carnival parade Faro takes place on February 9th, departing at 10am from Jardim Manuel Bivar. 

The EB1 Jardim de Infância de S. Luís, Bom João, Carmo, Alto Rodes, Ria Formosa, Vale Carneiros, Ferradeira, Areal Gordo, Bordeira and other institutions in the municipality (Refúgio Aboim Ascensão, Associação Arco-Íris, Casa de St. ª Isabel, Centro Infantil da Santa Casa da Misericórdia, Creche, O Relógio, Centro Infantil N.ª Sr.ª do Carmo – CASCD Faro and Centro Infantil Estrela do Mar) will be present, with a total of 2281 children expected.

Starting at 10 am at Jardim Manuel Bívar, passing through Rua de Santo António and ending at Praça da Pontinha, Faro «it will be filled with the joy of the little ones, who will parade, this year, without a defined theme, that is, each group will choose the theme of their costumes», says the Chamber.

The parade will be accompanied by Brazilian music, animation, confetti and will have the support of FAGAR (which will set up a water stand and clean the route and the venue) and students from the Escola Profissional da Santa Casa da Misericórdia, who will collaborate in streamlining activities.

Students from the Professional Sociocultural Animator Courses – secondary education, Educational Action Technician – secondary education and Child and Youth Caregiver Training – basic education will be involved.
