The Algarve Football Association (AFA) delivered, this Monday, December 18th, around 270 kilos of food to the Algarve Food Bank Against Hunger.
The food was collected as part of the fundraising campaign carried out recently and which will help the most needy families in the region for the fourth consecutive year.
The moment of delivery was attended by Nuno Alves, president of Banco Alimentar Contra a Fome do Algarve, and Carlos Figueira, director of AFA responsible for social responsibility.
In a press release, the AFA thanks the entire community that contributed to the cause, namely the clubs and affiliated referee groups, sports agents and partners, in addition to the fans who showed their solidarity throughout the Winter Champion's Cups - League 1 and Liga 2, held this weekend.
