Rita Tavares was elected president of the Academic Association of the University of Algarve (AAUAlg), in the elections that took place this Tuesday, the 7th. The inauguration is scheduled for the 7th of December.

The single list for the general management of AAUAlg, headed by Rita Tavares, Economics student, obtained 90% of the votes (959 out of a total of 1072 votes).

For the Board of the Magna Assembly, List M, led by Paula Silva, a master's student in Accounting, was elected with 809 votes.

Mariana Pacheco, a Management student who headed List F, was elected president of the AAUAlg Fiscal Council, with 811 votes.
