Portimonense was beaten 6-1 by Sporting de Braga, in a match on the 10th round of the I Football League, played this Saturday, November 4th, in the city of archbishops.

The Algarve even started to win and reached the break with an advantage, thanks to a goal from Pedrão after just 10 minutes.

Carlinhos took a short corner, Gonçalo Costa crossed and Pedrão appeared unmarked, deflecting the ball into the goal.

But the second half would be a total disaster for Portimonense. The equalizer came in the 48th minute, through Ricardo Horta, who completed a good play by Bruma.

The turnaround came in the 52nd minute, with Al Musrati converting a penalty. Álvaro Djaló (59′) extended the advantage of Braga, in a move of understanding with Banza.

The striker would, moreover, be in evidence for the rest of the game. Banza scored a hat-trick, with goals in the 83rd minute, from a penalty, in the 87th and 90th minutes.

With this defeat, Portimonense continues with 11 points and is in 10th place.

In the next round, the Algarve hosts Chaves, on the 11th, at 15:30 pm.
