In a note, the municipality recalls that, under the protocol signed in 2020, between the Municipality of Loulé and the Commission for Citizenship and Gender Equality, and renewed at the beginning of this year, with a view to implementing the National Strategy for Equality and Non-Discrimination 2018-2030 “Portugal + Equal”, the Loulé Team for Equality in Local Life was created, which has been responsible for preparing and executing the Plan and implementing the actions.

“Non-discrimination based on sex and equality between women and men, preventing and combating all forms of violence against women, gender-based violence and domestic violence and combating discrimination based on sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, and sexual characteristics are the main objectives that guide all these actions, namely the promotion of the collective participation of women and men in society, so that they have the same opportunities and are equally recognized», says the Chamber of Loulé.

This session is open to the entire community and registrations can be made via [email protected] or 967082914.
