In a statement, Odiana says that «it has played a fundamental role in the development of the municipalities of Alcoutim, Castro Marim and Vila Real de Santo António».

«Its multidisciplinary action in the territory aims to be a strategic point of convergence for joint development, based on the use and enhancement of local resources, heritage and community, in a sustainable way», he adds.

As it enters its 25th anniversary, Odiana guarantees that «it maintains an unwavering focus on its areas of intervention, including Territorial Promotion, Local Development, Planning and Ordering, Professional Training, Social Development, Investment Support and Technical and inter-municipal advice».

In celebration of its 25th anniversary, and considering the current national and global context, marked by environmental, political and financial crises, Odiana says it opted for a «modest celebration».

Thus, the initiatives will include, among others, «carrying out dynamics related to the Association and Baixo Guadiana, highlighting important personalities who passed through Odiana, the sharing of products and typical gastronomy of the territory and local curiosities».
