Álvaro Beleza, president of SEDES, Dinis Faísca, Algarve deputy from PSD and José Gusmão, MEP from Bloco De Esquerda, are some of the guests of the «Great debate on Public Schools», scheduled for December 2nd, between 9:00 am and at 18:00 pm, Pátio das Graças, Largo do Convento de S. José, in Lagoa.
The initiative will also feature a representative from the Spanish Union USTEA, as well as representatives from all groups of Public School professionals and experts in the field and associations.
Organized by the group of Education Professionals Rumo a Brussels, the debate “will take place in the city of Lagoa as it has been included in the Charter of Educating Cities”, explain the organizers.
This event will have several panels on December 2nd, the themes of which will be: “State of the School: different perspectives”; “The school we have: complaints”; “Selection, integration and training” and “What schools do we want?”.
