The 10th edition of the Moncarapacho Christmas Fair will take place on the 2nd and 3rd of December and will feature the 4th MonFole – Moncarapacho Accordion Meeting, taking place at the Events Pavilion, located in Largo do Mercado Mensal and with free entry .
The event, organized by the Union of Parishes of Moncarapacho and Fuzeta with the support of the Municipality of Olhão, this year has a Santa Claus to cheer up the youngest.
On the 2nd and 3rd, more than 40 artisans from the region will exhibit and sell their products at this fair.
In addition to the products for sale, anyone visiting this fair will be able to count on a vast entertainment program, which starts on the 2nd, at 17 pm, with the arrival of Santa Claus and a performance by the Choir of the Senior University of Moncarapacho.
At 18:00 pm, the Christmas Carol Group from the Associação Cultural Fusetense takes the stage and, at 19:30 pm, the music continues with the students from escolinhadohelder.
On the same day, at 21 pm, the 00th MonFole – Moncarapacho Accordion Meeting begins, with performances by accordionists Jorge Alves [born in Moncarapacho], Rodrigo Maurício and João Custódio. On Saturday, the event ends at 4pm.
On Sunday, December 3rd, the Christmas Market opens at 9:30 am and at 11:00 am Toi Picoito's saxophone will remember songs from around the world.
In the afternoon, at 14pm, there is 'Christmas Caroling' by the Agrupamento 00 Moncarapacho, from the CNE [Corpo Nacional de Esutas], followed by dance moments: Oriental Dances – Raqs Tahira (1255pm), Hip-Hop Fusion (15:00pm) ) and Urban Xpression (15:30 p.m.).
The Moncarapacho Christmas Market closes at 17pm.
