Applications for renting 15 houses on an agreed rent basis, in Ladeira da Fonte, in Paderne, will be open between the 27th of November and the 15th of December, the Albufeira City Council announced today.

There will be three T2 and 12 T3 up for competition.

The measure is aimed at “households that meet an effort rate between 15% and 45%, and the criteria defined in municipal regulation regarding this measure», according to the municipality.

Applications can only be carried out online and must be accompanied by all necessary documentation.

It is possible to clarify doubts or request information in person at the Parish Councils of the Municipality of Albufeira or at the Social Action Division, by telephone 289 599 655 / 289 599 650 / 289598878 / 969041785 (Monday to Friday) and by email loja.convenciona@ cm-albufeira.pt.

«After a first moment in which we inaugurated that housing complex on May 24th of this year, and we have allocated more than two dozen keys to new apartments, with all the conditions, now we have the good news that soon another 15 people will be able to have their future home there, in a privileged location", according to José Carlos Rolo, President of the City Council, José Carlos Rolo.

The construction of the 40 dwellings in the urbanization «involved an investment of approximately 4,6 million euros, in addition to 115 thousand euros for the exterior arrangements and 27 thousand euros for the execution of the project. The space is equipped with 48 parking spaces».

The Albufeira City Council's Conventional Rent program «seeks to respond to the population, who, as they cannot participate in supported rental programs, do not have access to any type of social response».

«This is a regime applicable to homes owned by the municipality, which are intended to be rented at prices lower than the average prices charged in the private rental market», explains the municipality.
