GAMP – Group of Friends of the Portimão Museum expressed, in a note published on its Facebook page, «a deep regret at the death of Margarida Tengarrinha, founding member and our vice-president of the General Assembly».
«Everything that can be said about Margarida does not do justice to her immense qualities as a woman, teacher, artist and above all as a courageous anti-fascist fighter», adds the GAMP note.
«To the family, especially his daughters, and all his friends, GAMP offers sincere and heartfelt condolences».
«Thank you Margarida, for your example of integrity and dedication in combating social injustices, for your multifaceted, liberating and visionary cultural and civic action. See you always friend!”, ends GAMP’s note.
On Tuesday, October 31st, she will be at the College Church mortuary from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm, and at 14:00 pm she will be cremated at the Albufeira crematorium.
