The Aldeias de Lince project, integrated into LIFE Lynxconnect, culminates tomorrow, October 17th, with the presentation of the results of the artistic and participatory communication intervention in three villages from the municipalities of Alcoutim (Gião and Pereiro) and Castro Marim (Odeleite – Furnazinhas).
The initiative also aims to publicize the process, with the participation of residents of these three villages, located in the expansion zone for the Algarve, in the Iberian Lynx reintroduction area – Vale do Guadiana – within the scope of the LIFE19 NAT/ES project /001055- Lynxconnect.
The artistic communication intervention was designed and developed by the Algarve company Proactivetur, following a tender procedure promoted in 2022 by the Regional Directorate for Nature Conservation and Forests of the Algarve.
Tomorrow's initiative will include participants in the artistic process, mayors, technicians, the president of the ICNF (Nuno Banza) and the director of the LIFE Lynxconnect project (Francisco Javier Salcedo), among others.
