The opening of the academic year at the Universidade do Tempo Livre (UTL) in Castro Marim, this Wednesday, October 18th, featured a show by comedian Jorge Serafim, at the Municipal Library.
As in the previous year, the Universidade do Tempo Livre will unfold in ten locations in the municipality – Altura, S. Bartolomeu, Rio Seco, Castro Marim, Monte Francisco, Junqueira, Azinhal, Corte Pequena, Alta Mora and Furnazinhas.
«The courses that have the greatest number of interested parties should continue, such as Decorative Arts, Lace, Trapology, Dance, Meditation and IT, but new proposals from graduates will now be evaluated», says the Chamber of Castro Marim.
This year, if the conditions are met, there will also be Portuguese for foreigners, as there are more and more senior foreign residents.
UTL is an initiative promoted by the Municipality of Castro Marim in partnership with the Odiana Association, in the context of synergies created with other projects supported by the Municipality.
