The initiative brought together 37 companies, linked to the Agro-food, Sea and Tourism sectors

NERA presented the priorities of the “Algarve 2030” operational program, in two workshops that took place last Wednesday, October 4th.

The initiative brought together 37 companies, linked to the Agri-food, Sea and Tourism sectors.

The workshops revealed the investment and qualification priorities of people, foreseen in Algarve 2030, as well as the annual plan for notices for the opening of applications.

The initiative also served to introduce participants to the University of Algarve's Lifelong Training offer.

It was also possible to carry out a dynamic with all participants with the aim of identifying opportunities for cooperation between the Agri-food and Tourism sector (morning period) and between the Sea and Tourism sector (afternoon period).

The next four workshops are scheduled for the 10th and 12th of October in the Seminar Room of the University of Algarve Library and will cover sectors such as Health, Wellbeing and Longevity, Renewable Energy and Circular Economy, ICT and Cultural and Creative Industries.

This initiative is part of the “Diversify Algarve” 2030 Project, co-financed by CRESCAlgarve2020 and which is being developed by CCDR Algarve – Algarve Regional Coordination and Development Commission, the University of Algarve and NERA.
