Book “Telúria” presented at the Silves Library

On the 28th of October at 15:30

Roberto Simões, a writer from São Paulo, will present his latest book, “Telúria”, at the Municipal Library of Silves, on October 28th, at 15:30 pm.

Roberto Simões, better known as Nero, has a degree in Portuguese Language and Literature at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Lisbon and has been writing stories since he was a child.

At the age of 15, he devoted himself to a single story, in which he crossed modern high fantasy with the classic molds of epic poetry. For 18 years, he wrote it, rewrote it and rewrote himself, until publishing “Oceano – O Reino das Águas” in 2021.

After “Ocean – The Kingdom of Waters”, Nero presents a poem rooted in memories and autobiographical references that, simulating his life path, “travels from the bucolic to the city, ending up returning to the heart of nature as an inevitable route to appeasement cosmic and for transcendence", reads the synopsis.

«Stripping it down to adjectives, “Telluria” will be beautiful, harsh and desolate — the first book in an informal trilogy, the “Trilogy of the Spirit”, the remaining two titles of which will be published soon».
