“The Great Conspiracy”, a promotional video from the municipality of Vila do Bispo, won first prize in the national competition ART&TUR – International Tourism Film Festival, in the Tourist Destinations – Cities category.
The ceremony that closed the 16th edition of the tourism film festival, which took place on the 27th of October, in Caldas da Rainha, was attended by the mayor Rute Silva, the councilor of the City Council Dora Guerreiro and the team from Slideshow, a company film producer.
«The video about Spring in Vila do Bispo displays the rich biodiversity of the territory, using local “actors”, the residents of the municipality themselves, who show everyone's pride and commitment to protecting the wildlife that makes Costa Vicentina unique and the entire Southwest region of Portugal», says the Vila do Bispo Chamber.
This year, at ART&TUR – International Tourism Film Festival, 82 films from 47 countries were shown, selected by an international jury from a total of 262 films and documentaries that registered.
The festival was organized by the Centro Portugal Film Commission and Turismo do Centro.
