The Municipality of Silves has already completed the extension of the water supply network to Barrocal (north), in the Parish of São Bartolomeu de Messines, the municipality announced.
The investment amounted to 130 thousand euros, also including paving the path.
According to the Chamber of Silves, the work «is part of the more general strategy of expanding the public water supply network, along with the rehabilitation of the road network, the reinforcement of mobility conditions, safety and levels of well-being of the population ».
