Algarve 2030 launches first notice to support social innovation projects

Notice has 1,7 million euros in allocation

The regional program “Algarve 2030” launched the first notice, with 1,7 million euros in allocation, to support social innovation projects.

Of these 1,7 million, 60% comes from the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+) and 40% from the Social Security Budget.

«The financing will be awarded in the form of a non-refundable grant and will cover, for a maximum period of 36 months, the regular and permanent costs of the team assigned to the project (including mandatory contributions from the respective employers), plus 40% for all the other costs associated with running the operations», explains the Algarve Regional Coordination and Development Commission (CCDR), which manages European funds in the region.

This first notice in the “Partnerships for Social Innovation” typology is thematic and aimed only at supporting projects/actions for the creation, development and/or growth of Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship Initiatives (IIES) focused on developing skills in children and young people.
