The “Paraíso-Ferreiras” road will be redeveloped, involving an investment of around 832 thousand euros. The contract was signed on October 5th.
The contract includes access to the back of the Ferreiras Parish Council, as well as work to correct sidewalks, public lighting, correction and creation of new solid waste collection points and repair of the bituminous pavement, with the aim of improving accessibility and, consequently, safety in the movement of pedestrians and vehicles.
These works will be carried out within 100 days.
José Carlos Rolo, mayor of Albufeira, says that «this is a work long awaited by the population, due to the enormous use of the road».
The mayor reinforces that «it is an investment that allows improving traffic conditions, safety and fluidity of mobility, promoting the improvement of the Municipality's road network in favor of the development and quality image of Albufeira for the citizens who reside here and all those who visit us».
