Quina Barreiros, presented as an «icon of Portuguese popular music», is the big star of the “Festa do Emigrante”, which takes place on the 12th of August, to celebrate the return of emigrants to this place in the interior of the municipality of Faro.
Inspired by «one of the greatest artists of all time», accompanied by her concertina and dancers, Quina Barreiros presents original music that entertains the public.
But the party will also feature the Popular March of Bordeira, in homage to the emigration of the 60s and 70s.
You can also give yourself a little dance to the sound of the duo Tons de Baile.
The Emigrant Party takes place at the Dona Leonor Outdoor Activities Centre, which opens its doors at 20 pm.
