Manouche Station closes Jazz nas Adegas at Convento do Paraíso

Manouche Station reproduces the contagious sound of the 20s and 30s

The Manouche Station group will close the 6th edition of Jazz nas Adegas, with two sessions, on the 8th and 9th of September, at Quinta de Mata Mouros – Adega do Convento do Paraíso, in Silves.

Manouche Station reproduces the contagious sound of the 20s and 30s, paying tribute to the legendary musicians of the Hot Club de France, such as Django Reinhardt or Stephane Grappelli, portraying the bohemian spirit, glamor and fun that accompanied this musical style.

The band is composed by João Novais (Contrabass), Paulo Rosa (Guitar “Petit Bouche”), Gonçalo Mendonça (Guitar “Petit Bouche”) and Filipe Santos (Violin).

Jazz nas Adegas is an event organized by the Municipality of Silves, which aims to boost and promote wine production in the region. It has a partnership with participating Silves Wine producers, the Silves Sul School Group and the Algarve Barmen Association.

Tickets cost 20 euros (includes concert, wine tasting from the producer, tapas tasting of local products, voucher to visit the Castle and Municipal Museum of Archaeology, free bottle of wine), and is on sale at BOL platform or at one of the following locations: FNAC, Worten, El Corte Inglés, CTT Correios.
