The fire that started on Saturday in Baiona, in the southern part of the municipality of Odemira, having then spread to Odeceixe (Aljezur) and Monchique, has just been given "in resolution" at 10:32 am, as can be seen on the website of the National Authority for Energy and Civil Protection.
This morning, after a night of hard work to take advantage of the drop in temperatures and the increase in air humidity, air resources, which already number 14, between planes and helicopters, returned in force.
There are still 1105 operational on the ground, supported by 366 vehicles.
It is expected that, in briefing of Civil Protection scheduled for 11:30 am, at the command post installed in São Teotónio, more details on the situation are given.
