The Aljezur municipal holiday will be celebrated between the 25th and 29th of August with 13 shows.
On the first day, in the City Hall, there will be a formal opening session which will include the attribution of the Municipal Medal of Merit and Dedication “Gold Grade” to António Novais Henriques, for his constant dedication to the associative challenges of Aljezur.
At that time, other municipal medals of cultural and sporting merit will be awarded to various associations in the county.
The festivities start on Friday, the 25th, with the opening of Street Food, next to the municipal market, with lots of snacks, taverns and musical notes.
On the 26th, the night turns to the sound of Deejay Telio, followed by Richie Campbell on the 27th.
The already popular Night A – Multicultural Night, with the usual white dress code, will take place on the 28th of August.
In this event, which takes place in the historic area, visitors will have the opportunity to visit the museums
of the town's historical-cultural and environmental circuit and, at the end of the afternoon, Rita Guerra will give an intimate concert on the stage of the Castle.
The night ends on the main stage with DAMA and Buba Espinho.
The party continues on the morning of the holiday with the traditional walk to Praia do Monte Clérigo, where the swim of the 29th is recreated.
At the end of the morning, the “Mega Sardinhada em sua Casa” begins, with free distribution, in all parishes, of sardines for this moment of fraternization.
The closing of the festivities will be in charge, on the main stage, of João Pedro Pais.
