Students from São Paulo are regional finalists in the Chemistry Olympics distinguished by the Municipality

André Santos, Daniel Chvartatsky and Tomás Pereira received a vote of praise

The Municipality of São Brás de Alportel delivered a vote of praise to the group of students from Escola EB 2,3 Poeta Bernardo de Passos who were regional finalists in the Junior Chemistry Olympics. 

The “Chemistry Olympics”, organized annually since 2000 by the Portuguese Chemical Society, are competitions for solving theoretical and practical problems in chemistry, aimed at Portuguese primary and secondary school students.

In the 2022/23 school year, the group of students from São Brás de Alportel made up of André Santos, Daniel Chvartatsky and Tomás Pereira was a finalist in the southern region in the Semifinals of the Junior Chemistry Olympics.

Accompanied by two teachers, they went to the University of Minho, on the 27th of May, on a trip sponsored by the Municipality.

«Recognizing the work and merit of these students and the educational community that contributed and continues to contribute to their training, the São Paulo municipal executive approved the delivery of this vote of praise for the result achieved and that so dignifies the municipality», refers to authority in note.
