Aljezur puts in public consultation regulation to attribute incentives to the retention of doctors

Currently, the municipality is served by a doctor and a doctor from the SNS

The Câmara de Aljezur puts the regulation for the attribution of incentives for the retention of doctors in public consultation.

«It is intended to define and discipline the type of support that can be granted to this professional group and that want to work in the local health units (health center and health extensions), of the SNS», says the municipality, recalling that, currently , the municipality is served by a doctor and a female doctor, both from the SNS, and also a female doctor who provides services through a human resources company, and the municipality already supports SNS doctors through housing.

Even so, the incentives can cover other modalities, namely support for travel or even being support for their settlement and permanence in the municipality, as it once happened in the municipality.

With a view to wider participation, the draft Regulation will be put up for public discussion through a notice published in the Diário da República, which will then be available for the collection of contributions for a period of 30 days.
