EVA and VAMUS workers strike

In addition to the total stoppage, there will be an overtime strike until 3:00 am on the 7th of August

Workers from EVA and the company Vizur, the operator of the VAMUS service, are going on strike on 1 August.

According to the Union of Road and Urban Transport Workers in Portugal, the workers «demand an increase in the base salary of no less than 100 euros and an end to the theft by EVA Transportes in holiday and vacation allowances».

In addition to the total stoppage, there will be an overtime strike until 3:00 am on August 7th.

«These are the workers who started the fight for better working conditions and wages in 2018 and that led to the resignation of the EVA Group’s Board of Directors, that same year», concludes the union.
