Silves is promoting, until August, an outdoor theater cycle, with the play “À Babuja”.
This is a show inspired by the classic by Cervantes '”Don Quixote de la Mancha”.
“À Babuja” is promoted by LAMA Teatro and brings together on stage the actors João de Brito, André Canário, Tânia Silva and the musician Igor Silva.
The objective of this activity is to bring this art to the population of all parishes in the municipality and «promote theatre, guaranteeing it a place of honor in the municipality's cultural offer», highlights Rosa Palma, mayor of Silves.
The initiative has the support of the Parish Councils and Parish Unions of the Municipality, as well as Sport Algoz and Benfica.
