The Pirate Festival promises, from the 25th to the 29th of July, a lot of entertainment at Jardim Patrão Joaquim Lopes, on the riverside area of Olhão.
The initiative will start at 18:00, with «recreations that remind us of the daily life of times gone by».
The downtown area of the city will thus, for five days, be populated by characters who will play out typical situations of a time that occupies a special place in the public's imagination.
The festival has the support of the municipal company Fesnima.
