Keeping the São Luís Stadium «inviolable», as happened last season. This is one of Farense's main goals for the return to the I Liga. The squad of the Algarve team was presented this Thursday, July 20, at Forum Algarve.
The wish was left both by coach José Mota and by president João Rodrigues.
«We want to continue what we did last season, when we didn't lose at Estádio de São Luís», said José Mota.
The coach also promised that the team will give "the maximum" throughout the season.
João Rodrigues spoke of a squad in which he has hopes.
«Today we have here a group that we strongly believe will achieve great victories», he considered.
This objective of keeping S. Luís «inviolable» was also addressed by the president of the Algarve. «We have this conviction», reiterated João Rodrigues.
Moreover, one of the novelties of the night was the presentation of reinforcement Bruno Duarte. The striker, who has already represented Vitória de Guimarães, arrives at the front of the attack.
«He is a player who will help us to reach our objectives», said João Rodrigues.
Bruno Duarte joins five other reinforcements that Farense has already announced: goalkeeper Luiz Filipe, defenders Fran Delgado, Artur Jorge and Talys Oliveira and midfielder Rafael Barbosa.
Moreover, Farense will play its first official game this weekend.
The League Cup first phase game against Moreirense will be played on Sunday, July 23, from 15 pm, in Moreira de Cónegos.
