A Wall Ride, Association for Social Action from a skateboard perspective, was at the Altura skatepark throughout this month of July for four sessions of initiation to the practice of this modality, aimed at children from Castro Marim.
In an activity included in the Active Summer Holidays of the Municipality of Castro Marim, several children had the opportunity to have an initiation to the practice of skateboarding in a safe way and by the hand of the most experienced instructors of the association.
«Despite the advanced state of degradation of the Altura skatepark, which is one of the oldest in the Algarve, the Wall Ride managed to boost the space safely», stresses the association.
The photographs produced by Frederico Cardoso, WallRide photographer and responsible for the slime zine, «capture the complicity of the instructors and children, who shared a visibly present happiness».
A WallRide Skate School is the department of the association responsible for presenting the practice to the most curious, whether in specific events, or through recurring classes in the skatepark of Faro.
