Tavira will have another wine tasting and palm oil route, on the 1st of July, at 14 pm, at the Municipal Museum, within the scope of the Valorizar program – Sustainability Support Line and the candidacy “Tavira with the Mediterranean Diet – A sustainable tourist destination”.
The workshop has the collaboration of Associação Agrolares and allows the discovery of different flavors and grape varieties of Algarve wines.
As part of this programme, on the 1st and 15th of July, between 9 am and 30 pm, the route of the palm work takes place, which includes a walk through the countryside, in the rural area of Tavira, for observation and learning about the harvesting process. , drying and also about the correct way to split the palm for the preparation of the work.
There will also be a technical explanation of the work, namely with regard to dyeing and sewing.
