Lectures, nautical sports, workshops and concerts by Rouxinol Faduncho and Rosinha. Sagres is getting ready to host, from the 30th of June to the 2nd of July, the 1st Feira do Mar.
The objective is to «promote and publicize the potential of the sea in terms of sports and gastronomy in the county», says the Vila do Bispo Council.
Lectures, workshops, showcooking, gastronomy, water sports, music, crafts and food & drinks are some of the initiatives that will boost this event organized by MAR – Maresia Associação Recreativa.
Over these three days, the event has several musical moments. On the first day, musical animation is in charge of the county band “Naomi and The Raposeira Dub Club” and “Who is Bob?”, a Bob Marley tribute.
In the second, Rouxinol Faduncho and “Banda MT80 – We rock the 80's” will liven up the night. The last day will be marked by the performance of Humberto Silva and Rosinha.
There will also be stands with crafts, regional sweets, liquors, products related to the sea, among others.
The venue, located next to Mareta beach, is scheduled to open at 16 pm. The nautical activities will take place in the morning on the beaches of Martinhal and Castelejo.
This initiative has the support of the Municipality of Vila do Bispo.
