The 8th edition of Carvoeiro Black&White is scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday, June 17th, promising to be the first big night of summer 2023 in the Algarve region. According to the Câmara de Lagoa, which organizes it, more than 30 thousand people are expected in the streets of Praia do Carvoeiro.
O dress code leaves no doubt why the predominant colors will be black and white, giving the village an impressive effect, with unique relief that makes it a natural stage for large events.
From 18 pm until 00 am, this free entry event will consist of seven scenarios (stages), with lots of street entertainment and music for all tastes, from Bossa Nova to Chill out, from the Fado of rhythms Afro Roots and the best covers, from the music of the 70s and 80s to dance music.
In this year's edition, there will be three novelties in terms of entertainment, a "Silent Party" in the Carvoeiro amphitheater, a "Sunset Experience", on the beach sand with music chillout, tribal dance with fire and aerial dance, and a Magic Show, with the magician Paulo Cabrita.
As in previous editions, the shows are scheduled to start at 20 pm and end at 30 am, on Carvoeiro beach, converted into an immense dance floor, to the sound of Deejay Overule, which will be accompanied by Mc Landu Bi.
From the beach to the amphitheater of the Chapel of Nossa Senhora da Encarnação, from Rua dos Pescadores to Largo da Praia, from Estrada do Farol Rua do Barranco, there are many reasons not to miss Black&White, where the atmosphere is one of celebration and glamorous.
As in the last editions, the Municipality of Lagoa, organizer of the event, will maintain the regular line of free buses that ensure the connection between Carvoeiro and the various parking lots planned in Lagoa: areas of Fatacil, Apolónia, Aldi and Gramital (land which is located in front of Aldi), as well as the Intermarché parking lot, close to Poço Partido.
The opening hours of the bus line will be maintained and there will be round-trip buses, uninterruptedly, between 18:00 and 4:00.
The Municipality of Lagoa recalls that this is an event where it is forbidden to circulate with glass and calls for compliance with safety rules. It also appeals for visitors to travel to the event on the free buses made available for this purpose.
