Seven commercial establishments on Ilha da Armona were notified and a recreational fisherman who did not have a license was fined during a joint operation by the Maritime Police, the Environmental Protection Nucleus of the Coastal Control Unit of the GNR and the Municipal Police of Olhão.
In the action "several commercial establishments and employees were inspected, resulting in seven notifications to the establishments, in order to present the proper documentation, and a process of administrative offense against a fisherman, who did not present the license to carry out the recreational fishing activity".
Four members of the Local Command of the Maritime Police of Olhão participated in the operation, supported by a vessel, three elements of the GNR, supported by a vessel, and two agents of the Municipal Police of Olhão.
