The Grade 7 class, from the Professora Piedade Matoso School Group, from Aljezur, was the big winner of the “Geologist I?” contest, promoted by the Municipality of Aljezur, with a work on Geodiversity in the county.
The winning poster shows, in a creative and rigorous way, the students' sensitivity and knowledge of the importance of the municipality's natural heritage.
The award ceremony – a visit to the “Slide&Splash” water park – took place on the 5th of June by the Mayor José Gonçalves.
The winning poster will be placed on the four Blue Flag beaches in the municipality of Aljezur (Arrifana, Monte Clérigo, Amoreira-Mar and Odeceixe-Mar), throughout the bathing season, in order to promote the appreciation of our territory.
