Martinho da Vila, Cláudia Pascoal and Élida Almeida put Fuzeta’s “Foot on Earth”

Pé na Terra Festival takes place on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th of June

Martinho da Vila, Cláudia Pascoal and Élida Almeida are three of the guests at the Festival Pé na Terra, in Fuzeta, which this year takes place on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th of June. 

The 11th edition will create a cultural exchange between groups and artists from Portugal, Brazil and Portuguese-speaking African countries.

«Pé na Terra is a stimulus to experiment with languages ​​and creative processes in the fields of music and dance, which aims to broaden the public's perception of the diversity between the various cultures present», says the organization.

Tiziu do Araripe, Ayom featuring Kastrup, Coisa de Zé, Irmãos Makossa, Dj Âmy B, Dj James Lima, Dj Tupinambo, Lisbloco and Baque do Tejo also join the poster.

There will also be space for dance and percussion workshops in modalities such as Maracatu, Samba, Funana, Kizomba, Bumba Meu Boi, Vira, Forró, Côco, Kola san Jon, Chula, among others.

Pé na Terra Festival is an event produced, in its core, by female immigrant entrepreneurs.

The Festival has the support of the Municipality of Olhão and the Union of Parishes of Moncarapacho.
