Algarve marches against homophobia

The meeting point will be in front of Escola Secundária João de Deus (Liceu de Faro), at 15:00

The 4th edition of the Algarve Pride March, an LGBTQI+ event in support of the fight against homophobia, transphobia and biphobia, takes place this Saturday, May 27, from 15 pm, in Faro.

This march will be a “celebration of diversity, love and human rights, but it is also a time to claim new rights and defend previously won rights”, says the organization.

The meeting point will be in front of Escola Secundária João de Deus (Liceu de Faro), at 15:00.

The march will go to Doca, through Avenida 5 de Outubro and Rua de Santo António.

On stage, in the Doca area, the manifesto for the 4th edition of this initiative will be read, followed by performances by drag artists.
