The first course «Creatures in the Night – Introduction to Bat Identification» will take place on Sunday, April 16, from 16 pm, at the Municipal Park of Sítio das Fontes, in Estômbar (Lagoa).
In this course, promoted as part of the celebration of the International Day for the Appreciation of Bats, the trainers are specialists Francisco Amorim and Virgínia Duro.
The theoretical component will end at 20:00, with a break for dinner (dinner or lunch at the expense of the participants), while the practical component will start at 21:00 with a field trip to observe bats.
It is advisable to use a flashlight or headlamp and comfortable clothing and shoes.
The activity will end at 22:30.
