Minister of the Environment visited Herdade da Parra in Silves

The visit was also accompanied by João Paulo Catarino, Secretary of State for Conservation of Nature and Forests, and Nuno Banza, President of the Board of Directors of the Institute for Conservation of Nature and Forests

Duarte Cordeiro, Minister for the Environment and Climate Action, visited, this Friday, March 31, Herdade da Parra, in Silves. 

The working visit, which was accompanied by the mayor of Silves Rosa Palma, by the councilor Maxime Sousa Bispo and by the coordinator of the Municipal Civil Protection and Forestry Service Nelson Correia, aimed to learn about and evaluate the fuel management interventions and actions complementary projects in progress at Herdade da Parra.

The moment also served to make a "situation point regarding various initiatives underway in the municipality within the scope of approved applications, in support of the operationalization of the Primary Network of Fuel Management Lanes (RPFGC) and in the process of implantation of the integrated areas landscape management plans (AIGP) approved by the Municipality'.
