Márcio Viegas is the new president of Vicentina, following the elections of the Governing Bodies of this association for the three-year period 2023-2026, which took place in Bensafrim, on the 31st of March.
In addition to the sociologist born in Bensafrim, the newly elected board comprises Aura Fraga, the former president, who now assumes the position of secretary, Vítor Campos (treasurer) and Carlos Albano and Artur Mourinho (members).
«After 30 years of activity, Vicentina promoted a process of associative restructuring and adjustment to the demands of the current context, based on its experience and knowledge, and projects a new stage of activity with a view to Renew and Continue», according to the association.
Throughout the term of office, actions will be developed in order to «consolidate and sustain» the activity of the association, «to articulate and intervene with partners» and «to know, promote reflection, organize and do».
